I was too chicken to weigh yesterday so I waited until this morning. I'm officially down 50 pounds. FIFTY!!
(No, that's not the goal I was talking about in my last post. Twelve more pounds to go for that.)

I love stepping on the scale
Wait.. Did I just say that???
But yeah... I really have been enjoying my weigh-ins each week. I know it sounds crazy, but I love seeing that scale go down.
Not much longer until my next reward... only 15lbs to go! Still can't bring myself to post what number that'll actually bring me down to. But maybe once I'm there I'll be able to. Who knows.
I still have 35lbs to go to get to my big goal. It sounds so daunting when I say it like that. So I'm going to ignore it for now and work toward the 15lb goal!

This is just NUTS
Went to spinning class this morning... I've been alternating going to spinning or Zumba on Saturday mornings.
At some point, I decided that I would go to Zumba. I did and now I'm beat. And STARVING.
Two hours of working out. In a row. ME. It's crazy, I tell ya!!

A much needed boost!
Each Monday morning I weigh myself. This morning as I looked at the scale, it was hard to really believe... I'm down 34lbs! Of course, I still have 48lbs to go, but whatever. I'm enjoying this!
I've started a new workout routine as well. The holidays are going to make me have to mix it up a bit, but I plan to stick to this as much as possible.
Monday: Strength and Muscle Tone 6am
Tuesday: Spinning 6am, Zumba 5:30pm
Wednesday: Ultimate Spinning (Spinning w/ bootcamp-y stuff) 5:30pm
Thursday: Spinning 6am, work w/ trainer 4:30pm plus maybe 30min walking after
Friday: Zumba 5:30pm
Saturday: either Spinning 8am or Zumba 9am
Sunday: light walking
I'm eager to hit that halfway mark! It shouldn't be too far away! Once I hit that, I'll take more pics. The following were taken about a month ago:

Changing it up a little...
My group class didn't make (not enough people), so I'm still going to work with my trainer each week. We decided to go ahead and do the assessment stuff, too since I'm not dropping the weight as quickly as I should be given my diet and exercise.
So last week I did the little assessment thing. It was kinda cool... nice to know that I'm not as far off on things as I thought I have been.
As it is, I'm going to be doing a ~1600 calorie diet (400ish for breakfast, lunch and dinner... and about 150-180 for snacks twice a day).
My weight on her scale (as opposed to the gym's) is a bit lower, so I liked that number better. She did my measurements and all that... And an indirect calorimetry thing which told me how many calories I need to be eating to lose weight properly. I felt like a science experiment.
We went over my typical eating and working out... And my workout routine is only going to change a little... My BMI is higher than she wants, which I figured would be the case, though it's not as bas as I expected. So I have to work on getting that down. Health first, then weight.
Here's my workout routine:
Sunday - light cardio (30-45min)
Monday - cardio/strength class
Tuesday - Zumba
Wednesday - Ultimate spinning class
Thursday - torture session w/ trainer (cardio/strength) plus 30min light cardio
Friday - Zumba
Saturday - Zumba
As it is, I'm down 20lbs (according to the gym's scale--the one I use regularly). Not a big jump from my last post, but I think with the restructuring of my diet and new workout schedule, the results will pick up.
I'm definitely seeing a bigger difference in my clothes, which is nice! I'm in jeans I haven't worn in years!
So that's where I stand right now!

Slow and steady...
I'm down 16lbs from when I first started... I guess that's good. I wish I could say it's more, but it's not.
I'm not going to bootcamp anymore, but I'm working with my personal trainer again... And in 2 weeks, I'll start working with her in a group setting (read: cheaper). It also includes nutritional consultation with the group and one on one. So I think it'll be good.
